Flights EquipmentsIn order to keep aircraft safely aloft, and more importantly, make sure they land safely as well, many types of equipment are used in the aircrafts as well as on the ground. Flight equipment must meet airline equipment codes, and it does everything from reading the outside conditions and relaying them to the pilot, to automatically changing the airplane’s course because of some minute factor such as the change in speed of a tailwind. It is learning about all of the different equipment and how to operate it that makes flight training so challenging.Before a future pilot even gets off the ground, he or she can practice flying by using flight simulator equipment to exercise the ability to fly. Each iteration of these systems get more and more realistic, as advances in technology allow the system to more accurately reflect what happens when actually flying a plane. Military flight equipment involves some of the most advanced technology in the world, as the aircraft must be designed to not only get from one place to another, but to do it extremely quickly and safely, often under hostile conditions. The military also has some of the best flight simulators that money can buy, to train their fighter pilots to fly advanced aircraft in varying conditions. When vision becomes poor enough that it is hard for a pilot to see, such as when the flight travels through the clouds or fog, several aviation rules kick in called “Instrument Flight Rules” (IFR) to help the pilot maneuver the aircraft using just the equipment in the cockpit. There is a minimum amount of equipment needed for flight during IFR, and a pilot’s training addresses the use of each type of instrument that is used. And, when one is finished flying their aircraft during flight training, pro flight cleaning equipment is just the ticket to getting the grime off of the plane, to protect it against weathering and corrosion. There are two methods of cleaning an aircraft, wet and dry, with wet cleaning involving the use of a lot of water to wash off the dirt and grime, and can often involve equipment used to capture and treat the wastewater runoff that results from this technique. Dry cleaning involves rubbing a solution onto the plane, and then wiping if off after it dries, taking the dirt with it.
